Regional & Rural Committee

Ethics Committee

The CAPA Ethics Committee aims to uphold the Code of Ethics and Practice for CAPA NSW, so that the general public has confidence in our Members’ standards of practice. We are committed to protecting the public and other CAPA Members against unlawful or unethical conduct by Members. The committee provides guidance in the practice of the ethical framework drawn up in this Code This code is intended to inform best practice of members of CAPA. We also seek to clarify the rights of the client in terms of best standards of professional behaviour and therapeutic practice.

 

The Committee is made up of the Chair who is an Executive Member of CAPA and CAPA Members. The Ethics Committee meets regularly to discuss any queries or disputes. Marketing & Communications Committee

This Committee focuses on :

1) providing timely and effective communications to CAPA members through various media including, but not limited to, internet and print.

2) reviewing and creating platforms and opportunites to promote the work of CAPA and its members to the general public.

Special Projects Committee

 

The Special Project Committee is an advisory committee, accountable to and reporting regularly to the CAPA Executive. Its exists to research, formulate implement, monitor and review projects for the benefit of CAPA specifically as well the professions of counselling and psychotherapy .
