Symposium: Crossing Borders

Sponsored by University of Notra Dame’s Centre for Faith, Ethics and Society, a Symposium on Mental Health and the Asylum Seeker Experience will be held in Sydney on 14 February.

The Crossing Borders Symposium will bring together up to 150 mental health workers, psychologists, doctors, teachers and students including Professor Beverley Raphael and Associate Professor Suresh Sundram, novelist and human rights advocate Dr Arnold Zable, Senator Lee Rhiannon and community representatives with their own stories of resettling, to explore how we can best support the needs and flourishing of this vulnerable population.

Workshop attendance certificates will be issued for CPD point allocation.
